“These services often expose users to malware, scams, and data theft, with no recourse when things go wrong. The safest, smartest and only choice is to stick to legitimate providers for your entertainment.”

When the “legitimate providers” also expose users to malware (though poor security on their cheap devices), scams (through adverts), data theft (through all their monitoring spyware), and no recourse when things go wrong (“just buy a new one”) then it’s no surprise people turn to dodgy providers!

It must be really nice to live in a country where the police have nothing better to do than shake down citizens for Sky/Comcast’s benefit.

Pro tip: Use a stolen laptop with live GPS tracking to do your computer crime and the police won’t have the resources to deal with it.
