“Did you ever notice how in the Bible, whenever God needed to punish someone, or make an example, or whenever God needed a killing, he sent an angel? Did you ever wonder what a creature like that must be like? A whole existence spent praising your God, but always with one wing dipped in blood. Would you ever really want to see an angel?” -Thomas Daggett, the Prophecy

And something out there preys on them?!

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, at least.

I on the other hand have evidence for my religion, the good word of “Bob” is the only evidence I need. He was told by JHVH-1 himself after being zapped while working on a TV set of his own design in 1953.

It is in cases where the thing in question should have evidence. If someone tells me they have a dragon in their garage, the absence of evidence when I go in their garage and don’t find a dragon is evidence of the absence of a dragon.

Oh! It’s like when you’re scared af but you gotta do it anyway, so you tell yourself “I can do this. Deep breaths. I can do this!” It’s just angels calming themselves down. I get it.

Ok wanna hear my theory on angels?

First, this presumes all accounts are true, so if you can’t get by that, stop here.

The people on record of having seen angels describe them as having “wings” and “eyes”, however as these people were very likely agricultural in nature (farmers, herders, etc.) they may have simply described what they saw with the closest analogies they had. What they actually saw could have been something much different, but so far beyond their experience that they couldn’t describe them any other way.

Hypothesis: angels are actually higher dimensional beings that exist in more than 3 dimensions, and intersect part of their being to our 3 dimensions in order to interact with us. “Wings” and “eyes”, along with “wheels within wheels” could be undulations, harmonics, ripples, echoes, sympathetic frequencies of their actual presence that we interpret as best we can. It’s like when the sphere visits Flatland, we are seeing multidimensional cross sections of them, which give them such an otherworldly appearance.

Something something all art is derivative.

          https://www.haaretz.com/world-news/2021-03-05/ty-article-magazine/.highlight/was-moses-high-studies-linking-religion-and-drugs-gain-traction/0000017f-f52e-d887-a7ff-fdee87120000

Animals like drugs; it’s not just humans. I remember watching birds get drunk on our pear tree as a kid. How true our assumptions are that they were stoned when these various concepts formed is another matter. There are a number of theories, but it’s hard to “prove” and usually need to be looked at case by case. Often, there’s no way to really tell.
