Very US school system where you blame those being picked on for not leaving and no longer making it a problem for them that you exist rather than clean up their own messes because it’s easier to pretend bullies need to be appeased.
I one time got a mod to admit through what felt like gritted teeth that I hadn’t officially broke any “niceness” rules but were going to temp ban me anyways cause my reports of the .world user threatening me and inventing lies to slander me with was annoying.
And lemmy.world won’t ban them, but will ban you for proving a mod wrong, or standing up to .world trolls.
