By far the smartest action of last government was shutting down uneconomic aging nuclear and aggressively expanding renewables. Nuclear energy is simply an expensive boondoggle that permits bribes to politicians that must be responsible for funding unbankable/uninsurable projects. SMRs are simply a new scam to distract from failure of previously (more efficient) scams.
