This sandwich is straight out of the USSR.

Unnecessary labor that only exists to keep sandwich cutters employed. It produces an odd looking product that would never last in a free market economy. This is the Lada of sandwich cuts.

This is a sandwich for Khrushchev.

  • Don’t forget about the disabled and elderly.

I know some folks with severe degenerative diseases and no family to help. They spend their money on assistance to get to the damn toilet, but the GOP wants them to “get a job” or to quote New Max’s Rob Schmitt, stop spending money to “get their nails done” and “to get their weaves.”

This is what happens when you elect millionaires and billionaires to represent normal people. They don’t understand the what it’s like to need support, or to be a family that’s trying to work and support someone who is elderly or severely disabled.

  • Other blue states need to do their part, but doing “their own prop 50” probably won’t be a thing.

Every state handles their constitution, legislation and redistricting differently. Politicians in Texas can just redraw districts if they want. In CA, the citizens control the keys to voting districts.

Also, if other states did want to vote on something, they would need to scramble for an expensive special election now. They just missed the annual window to vote.

  • Texas doesn’t allow for citizens to gather signatures to put something directly on the ballot. The politicians control everything.

CA citizens used a citizen-led ballot initiative to take the redistricting keys away from the legislature. Stuff like this has to go before voters in CA.

The people are more in control in CA.
