On none of my other accounts do I scroll through local. This is a uniquely great instance.
I wish their were more of these interest based instances. Other than fanaticus.social there was lemmy.film which is gone now. Wish the best for this instance.

slrpnk.net is another but for some reason i didnt consider them as interest based. Probably bc science, tech and nature are everywhere.

Yeah I do that too! I’m here for cozy literature talk, not whatever is going on in the rest of Lemmy lol.
I hope whenever local only posts come it can be even more chill with some casual local only community conversations
