There was this brief, beautiful moment when Musk seemed respectable. He was into renewables, and electrification, and investing in space. It sounded great. And then he opened his fucking mouth and just hasn’t shut it since. Once he started talking, everyone else started noticing and publishing all the terrible shit that was there all along but no one either knew or cared about until then.
Definitely agree on him needing help. His behaviour isn’t normal, considering his behaviour even 5 years prior. Musk 10 years ago was probably still an idiot, but a private idiot and less of a man-child than today.
Stupid question, but is there some law in the US where someone can be detained for mental health reasons, to be evaluated to see if they pose a risk to themselves or others? Perhaps someone close to him should check that everything is fine, and if not, get him away from the half dozen companies he seems to be running into the ground.

If you still respect Elon Musk after every obvious display of stupidity and incompetence he’s shown, I think that says a lot about how willing people are to kiss the ass of billionaires on the right, and that’s just sad. Musk doesn’t give a fuck about you.
