In a particularly creative expression of anti-MAGA sentiment, a man who goes by the username “biz_dave” says he successfully trained crows to attack MAGA hats. As detailed in a series of posts on Threads, the self-proclaimed “big nerd” and “very part-time artist” stuck some tasty treats, including “peanuts, chicken scraps, mealworms, and dog kibble,” underneath a MAGA hat.
“Once they were coming regularly, it was only about three months to get them to the hat removal stage,” biz_dave wrote.
Better not be a fan of any red flavored sports teams in that town, somehow I doubt the crows can read.

Might as well make all sports teams change colors then since we’ve become bulls who can’t stand the sight of red shit. I still say that humans should be able to read the difference from “maga” and “49ers” but of course that’s from my high pedestal of literacy, curse you Sesame Street!
You know, I had a bright red baseball hat that I used to love. I stopped wearing it a little over a decade ago, because at least two people thought it was a MAGA hat and I didn’t want to get dragged into more conversations with MAGAts or alienate people who are now being targeted by the regime.
That’s unfortunate, but it happens and I bet I’m not the only one who stopped wearing red hats.

I just had the opposite thought the other day. I’ve always thought blue works better with my face. However er I may start wearing a red hat on the principal that those fuckers don’t get the color red! Decolonize the color wheel, live free!!!

I’ve been torn. I have almost a dozen greek fisherman hats in various colours, including red. I often won’t wear it, but I can’t part with it. I do still wear it sometimes, but I am prepared for any jackass to pipe up and say something stupid to me assuming I’m on their side so I can shut them the fuck up.
But I don’t wear it much because I don’t want folks on my side to assume I’m a fascist.
This timeline sucks, even if this is the tiniest reason it sucks.
I’ve also been looking for a pin to put on it that would help make things clear, but money’s tight so I just choose not to wear it except sometimes when I go to dialysis where people already know my politics. lol
I also have a red/white hat that looks absolutely nothing like a maga hat, and I also stopped wearing it after a dude laughed and told me “man I thought you were wearing a trump hat I was about to kick your ass” (as if that was comforting lmao), so I understand the sentiment.
But also there’s still a bunch of sports teams that do use red fabric as well, red fabric isn’t exclusive to trump, and imo we should all learn to read instead of needing to avoid red fabric like a crip. It’s really not that hard to tell a maga guy from some swiftie that bought “one of those Travis Kelce sports hats” tbh, just read the dang hat, y’know?
I mean, the swastika was used in a very positive way for millennia, and from a design perspective it’s just a great symbol.
If we can give up the swastika, we can give up red baseball caps.
Join the crips: for all your gang warfare needs! Then you can shoot at anyone wearing red for any reason and not be “crazy” just “crips be crippin’.”
In fairness, we might have avoided some of this fascism if we had. heh
