    Scarcity economics. The more difficult it is to reach something, the more its value rises. Gatekeepers, much like scalpers, get their euphoria from controlling media from the masses. They enjoy the grift of being the only ones to enjoy the media they gate. They are worse than scum, because at the least scalpers hold lives at ransom. Media GKs just want the media unexposed forever for their clique.
