so… that particular rock came from a bust that secret service set up in Lafayette Square (just outside the WH).

The thing is, they set up the buy and had them (the dealers) send out a kid to Lafayette so that they could get the crack and put it in a baggy and scare people into believing that it was common for dealers to sell out of lafayette. here’s a fairly good article about it
