Queued up for later.
Website for the documentary about this filmaker
PS for a while there, Tubi in Mexico would only let me see films dubbed into Spanish. But looking around now (on the website at least, not sure yet in the Roku app), it’s a mix:
Whenever I see that message I think it’s bc I keep DRM turned off on Firefox, I don’t know much about it tho.
Sorry, I should have been clearer. It’s not a technical error message, but a media availability message.
Lots of other movies on Tubi play just fine in my browser (Zen, mod of Firefox). But 90% of the movies featured on the home page are “Content not available”.
If I had to take a guess, I’d say it might be bc that movie is region-locked. That movie seems to be currently available in the US. So on the back-end they probably have one service that delivers the home page but doesn’t check for regional availability (poor design!), and only when the movie-specific page is accessed do they check for regional availability. But that’s just a hypothesis.
Yeah that would be my guess, too. Poor design choices making the user experience very frustrating.
