Summary:
I downvoted pro-AI comments in a post in leftymemes community. It was LLM generated polandball comic (Which is objectively pathetic as fuck) that showed up on my feed, blocked couple of users who I thought were unhinged, and have blocked the whole instance on my client after realizing how rabid these morons are.
I didn’t go looking for AI posts like a vigilante.
One user in question got miffed for being downvoted and banned me from places they moderate.

You can, but that only works if they are vanity subs where they are the only poster. Those tend to show up a lot when sorting by scaled even if the only activity is the mod replying to their own post.
I understand but there’s only so many contributing members of the larger multi user communities. They are touching the poop and therefore their opinions about anything else don’t matter to me. I can block all the users I see in communities I now can’t block as a whole. I’d rather just kill the hydra but if I need to I’ll cut each head off myself.
Not being able to block communities after being banned seems like a poor decision was made during the development of this site.
It is just hiding the option in the web layout by replacing all of the buttons with the ban message and could be easily fixed by having the Block button separated.
