I live in the US and don’t think I’ve ever had a UK style biscuit. What are the asbolutely must try brands/types?
minus-squareZachariah@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·9 days agoI have no idea if that’s a real thing.
minus-squareOmegaMouse@pawb.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·9 days agoIt does sound like a fake British thing xD But’s they’re real and very tasty!
minus-squaremudbug@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·9 days ago$18/£13.3 for a single sleeve of biscuits off Amazon’s US site. If I get them I’ll have to hide the price from my partner.

minus-squareQuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·edit-29 days agoWhere do you live? I can get hobknobs at grocery stores in New Jersey (NYC metro area). They are like $4 Wegman’s carries them.
minus-squaremudbug@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·9 days agoDeep south, I’ll look for them next time I’m at a Fresh Market.
minus-squareQuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·9 days agoIf you have a local city with a large enough UK ex-pat community they should beeasy to find.
minus-squaremudbug@lemmy.worldOPlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up5·9 days ago Not sure I’ve got one nearby, but I can look!
minus-squareQuoVadisHomines@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3·9 days agoMy pick is Irish and it’s Jacob’s Club which is a plain biscuit with chocolate. It’s like a kit kat with a cookie middle rather than a wafer
minus-squareklemptor@startrek.websitelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·8 days agoJust be sure to watch out where the lanes reverse direction!
minus-squareSquizzy@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·9 days agoFind others, they are not one of those that you have to get the brand. Every spermarket here has their own one.
