I mean he doesn’t really any roots or supporters among MAGA like e.g. Steve Bannon. Musk “joined” MAGA shortly before the elections, but MAGA is already… over 10 years old? Musk wasn’t part of that and doesn’t really “speak to” MAGA either. The people he appealed to didn’t come from MAGA. It was clear to MAGAts as well that he’s just an opportunist and a useful tool.
