      “Fag” can be used either as a slur towards gay people or to mean the same as “cigarette”. The OP plays on both meanings, while reclaiming the slur usage.

        I think the problem is that nothing in the image alludes to cigarettes, while there are clearly references to queerness, so we just see the slur in huge letters and then two sentences that don’t provide any context or mean much on their own.

          It could deliver better the association with cigarettes, specially since it’s mostly a British usage. But for me the wordplay was immediate - probably because “a cig makes it better” or “I need a cig to make this well” is the sort of shit we smokers say all the time.

          (Just now I noticed the colours in “all ways” spelling “ally”)
