It’s down 9% since in revenue compared to this quarter last year. Not good but 71% loss on net income is slightly misleading
Outlook is often more important than earnings. People are, supposedly, hype about the autonomous taxis. But those have been coming “next year” for a couple years now

Why was the stock up today??
They released quarterly report and this was already priced in. When no new bombshells were dropped, people started buying.
They reiterated the cheaper models starting production in H1 2025 as well. Reuters had just reported those were delayed months on Thursday.
I’d love to see how they can twist a H1 2025 guidance on April 22 and then backtrack by June 30th. Not impossible though.
Today was the day to announce any delays if they were going to do it and not face investor backlash.
This announcement happened at the close of the markets. The price movement during active trading today cannot be in response to this announcement.
