Just have crippling, insane traffic, where it takes you three hours to move five (5) city blocks (this has actually happened to me). Suddenly, a new bike lane gets you across the city in 26 minutes. It made the bike lanes very popular, haha.

You guys gotta be more like America on the bike lanes one.
