It’s so cute with its little wings and belly so close to the ground.
Also super cool the project was designed by students.
How long does it take to charge using only its solar?
It has 60kWh of storage and 2kW when folded in and 4kW when not.
So that would be ~15 hours with the panels fully deployed? Honestly not bad for a mobile solar setup.
That would be 15 hours under ideal sun to get the full 4kW, so it’d likely take 2 days to go from zero to full, perhaps a bit less if you optimized the angle of the panels to the sun.
