All the articles that young people are having way less sex than previous generations, etc. Young men are frustrated and instead of doing something productive about it, they start hating women. And hating women is a quick slide to the right side of the political aisle.

If you want my honest opinion, gamer gate. it hit at just the right time for a lot of genz boys to be really into gaming at the time and to be dumb enough to just listen to what the people that they watched play games say and believe.

Meanwhile for the women, the right was largely offering nlog shit. It was taking away rights and encouraging misogyny in the men their age. This pissed them off which pissed the men off now that they couldn’t get laid
Tradwife content is getting really big with genz, unfortunately. I’m not sure how much longer the girls will stay liberal at this rate. The Mormon church is heavily subsidizing LDS content creators through adsense and it’s encouraging more and more of them to build a platform, and pushing their content far and wide. Once I started seeing the signs, there are so many Mormon influencers. They’re winning the cultural victory rn and it’s scary af as a progressive woman.

I really don’t want it to be true, because it’s just such a boring, stupid little bit of corruption. There’s so much fucking corruption in our whole economy, and for them to seize on that of all things and the message they get out of it is “wow, fuck women huh?” Is just boggling.
There’s a decent correlation there. There was an article or study out out recently that demonstrated that Republican narratives and pundits overwhelmingly dominate the podcast/streaming space by like a 5:1 ratio, and that a lot of people (for some reason, disproportionately men) who are exposed to podcasts and streaming tend to drift right as they’re exposed to these pundits and narratives.
