The first time I tried to go to college and use my disabled veteran education entitlement (ch. 31) was during the first Trump admin. I was told my ptsd is too severe, and they wouldn’t approve me. I appealed all the way up to the VA admin of whatever region I was in and got told to stay home and “relax”. They said all that and it took three more years (when Biden was in) to get my disability rating bumped up to 100% total and permanent.

I tried to get approved for college again after my rating was raised and had no issues lol.

ooo, remember that total and permanent disability is a valid cause to have your federal student loans forgiven. you only get to use it once per disability, but damn if it doesn’t help.
