Five structures built by a company called Tiny Tiny Homes have been erected in St. James Park and are housing people experiencing homelessness. However, residents in the area want the homes gone due to safety concerns.
I’ve started asking people “do you have any independently verified statistics to back that up?” and when they start justifying why the answer is no or trying to say anything other than “yes and here they are” I just hit the with “So no, then. The answer is ‘no I don’t have anything that backs up what I’m saying in reality’” and usually that shuts them up because they don’t rant to talk to me anymore. Which is fine by me. It’s usually in-laws.
