Went to KLCC yesterday and wife asked me to get some present for her friend’s kid at Smiggle. Holy fuck, the price… Pencil case starts at RM69, RM350 for a bag. RM45 for a stationary set but only if you buy something else at full price. My friend mentioned that his 7YO nephew had lost friends because he was the only one in his circle that didn’t had Smiggle. Man, kid these days. I grew up in a upper middle-class household, having one of those multipurpose pencil case with built in sharperner & multiple drawers was the height of luxury.
This is some classic M40 student in a T20 class drama that I’m too B40 to comprehend.
This week has been a terrible, horrible, no good week with my mental health so bad I’m debating making an appointment with a psychiatrist next week.
But for now, a bright spot: One of the Russians convicted in absentia for the MH17 has been arrested. Though for criticizing Putin.

Sorry to hear about your week, hope you’re holding up. Though talking about it with someone might be helpful indeed. Would however suggest that you might want to see a therapist/counsellor instead of a psychiatrist (unless you have been seeing one, or are looking for medical help), as they might be more suited to what you may need in dealing with the stress and difficult experiences.
