Washing your hands with soap, water helps prevent disease, infection

There's no evidence OTC antibacterial soaps prevent disease more than washing with plain soap and water. Some antibacterial drugs can do more harm than good.

You don’t need antibacterial soap at all, if anything it hurts your immune system in the long run.
