You’re right to be sceptical. I’ve learned to not blindly trust the “Made in Italy” label for example. But this website reads (translated with https://www.deepl.com/):

So that’s good enough for me.
@exchange12rocks@lemm.ee : Thanks for looking deeper into it. While I don’t have access to LI, that’s suspicious indeed. So either they’re lying outright, or maybe final assembly happens in France at least. I guess that’s the best you can hope for nowadays. Very disappointing.
