40 hours work week and 26 paid vacation days in my country. Everything above 40h is paid 150 or 200% depending on circumstances but it’s usually not obligatory to work like that as employers both don’t want to pay more and they don’t want to screw with people due to lack of workforce willing to do that shit.

In a civilized European country unlawful detention results with “free” monies from compensation and it’s not even that hard to get if it was really “absolutely for no reason”.

Really. I don’t know how exactly looks day to day life in other countries but my country feels extremely safe compared to what I sometimes read about the US or Western Europe (not to mention countries like Brazil or Mexico or some African countries). To be honest people here in Poland don’t even think about such things as being killed or just even mugged randomly because chances it would happen are lower than winning at EuroJackpot.

I convinced people who I mostly chat with to switch long time ago. I don’t really chat with the rest and they can contact me over SMS if they (or I) want anyway.
