Tltr: Avoid extremes.
E.g., bad scenarios: charging to the fullest/depleting to 0; usage/storage/charging in hot or sub-0 environments; going full throttle (vs eco mode); too high/too low tire pressure.
You’re welcome.
Could you tell whether you usually ride in car lanes? Is it a choice (meaning, don’t you have separate bike lanes)?
In any case, i wouldn’t dare to constantly ride a bike in traffic (if i would have a bike lane to use), and no bicycle radar would settle my concerns. Call it excessive caution or trust issues (myself and other people on the road). 💁
I wonder: To make a turn, do you only follow what radar tell you (or does not signal anything)? Do you still look over your shoulder to check yourself if it’s safe to maneuver? 🤔
Also: What kind of warnings do these radars provide (and how do you react)?
I cycle, therefore I advance
Considering how small it is - there is nowhere else to move the battery to.
If you want to keep the vehicle compact and maneuverable (and less prone to tip over), you keep the battery where it is now: low and near the centre of mass (or you can basically sit on top of it)).
“E-Cells, an e-bike brand in the US known for its all-wheel-drive fat tire e-bikes with extremely high performance, has announced that it is terminating operations and closing its doors.”
Would you share your preferred alternative(s), if any? Thanks! 🖐️
Have a look at Ampler Bikes. That’s an estonian manufacturer, and i believe they’ve recently made their first usb-c rechargeable ebike.
I’m more interested in belt-drive bicycles, and this market is much broader. Quite hard to make up one’s mind, which bike to consider to buy)
The means of transport as the specifying factor for a jail sentence is absurd or even idiotic. It’s like, if the killer was wearing red shorts - he is sentenced for 5 years. Green shorts - ok, it’s 2 years only.
Or another “clever reasoning”: Killed by a driver of ICE car -> a year of imprisonment. Electric vehicle? - Hey, you still go to jail. 5 year sentence, you green-washed snowflake) Hybrid car? - 3 years. Bike - [random number of] years. Bus? Aeroplane? A scooter?! Etc.
What the actual…fricking difference of what vehicle the careless driver was using – as the victim is killed/injured anyway?! 🤦
There is nothing wrong in trying to make a PEV a budget-friendly mode of transportation. Zero motorcycles are far from being affordable (for any market, but especially where Zeno is aiming).
