I agree with this article. He’s not the real issue. Maybe one of them but not the only one by far.
And how dumb- just let him finish it out. What good does it do firing him with 5 games left? Just reads like an asshole move by the FO. Which given the assholes at the top, why should we be surprised.

This is unequivocally an improvement over the current process where legislators get to pick their voters and disenfranchise people.

The sweep takes us up to 3rd in the Central and only 1.5 back of the Brewers in first.
What a game. Amazing grand slam by Steer and a shaky but altogether effective finish by the pen in the bottom of the 10th.
I didn’t actually get to catch this (Thanks Manfred for the stupid RSN bs) but I did hear it was rough to give up 3 in the final inning.
I think heartbreaking is an overstatement but yeah.
But hey, at least we got them back on Sunday.

I was ok with not splurging at the time with such a young squad. But I would think/hope they are going for it in these couple years now. But who knows with this FO.

That might be the ticket. I might just try to expose the ui off the box itself and configure a systemd unit or something to run it on boot.
Will probably set up a throwaway VM tomorrow to test it out. Thank you.
Edit: So I didn’t quite understand the entire process (and to some degree with the ACL, still don’t yet) but this is what I know now.
The two binaries are kopia and kopia-ui. The latter is to be used on a desktop (or something with a window manager) for easy config of the snapshots, etc. The normal kopia binary is CLI only and suitable for servers.
But with the kopia binary (and the ui one presumably) you can start a server with it and then access that from any machine, firewalling dependent of course.
I started that with
kopia server start --address 0.0.0.0:51515 --server-username= --server-password= --tls-cert-file /root/my.cert --tls-key-file /root/my.keyafter having generated a cert and key. You can also just pass--insecureif you don’t care about https (ie. testing.)From there it lists the configured snapshots, etc. This might be exactly what I need and a systemd unit file would be easy enough to create to have this started on boot.
Doesn’t seem to matter. This asshat shouldn’t be in power now but somehow he is.

If you do and people still want it, jellyfin integrates it for free. Either way, I’m very happy with my HD homerun.
