One of my friends from high school was a ze for a while, while actively transitioning, and sort of going in and out of fem/ masc presentations, and dressing. Once she got her breasts done she was just a she though.

They were very unbiased by pronouns and even dead- naming though. Like if you asked, they’d say they were a ze, but really didnt care if anyone still called them he or even she, and werent going to correct someone even if they used the old masculine name. There was also an aspect of the original name being pretty unique, whereas the new one was a more generic one, so it was often a matter of

Years ago i had a friend who got charged for theft from his employer- he was GM of a restaurant that was in the process of going bankrupt. Checks were a month behind including credit card tips. The last of thw staff were bassically at the were walking if we dont get paid today moment.

So he took the weekends take, like $20k, and paid out most of the paychecks in arrears, allong witb enough to keep the vendors that were about to stop making deliveries. He got arrested, spent the night in lockup and had to pay bail.

He ended up getting saved from having to go to court though; his lawyer was able to convince the DA that he needed to look into the owners finances, and it turned out there was a reason the restaurant was going bankrupt- the owner was straight up ‘investing’ all the money, on short term stock market plays, including the tips, (which is illegal) had made some bad plays and dug himself a pretty big hole. The owner never got arrested though, he just got fined, which ended up getting paid out of the bankruptcy. At least the staff and afaik all the vendors got paid though.

He got his ally (not the israel- us alliance, the trump- Netanyahu one) exactly what he wanted- all the living hostages, and many of the dead ones, which was one of the main Israeli complaints about the war.

He gave both sides a tough guy act, hamas bought that he was really going to be tough on israel, and gave up their main leverage in exchange for prisoners israel doesnt really care about, and didnt get a peace deal, just a ceasefire, and the begining of negotiations- and they didnt even get a good starting point for those.

The baseline is basicaly gaza surrendering all weapons, disolving hamas, and getting an israeli ally-controlled government/ reconstruction. (All that reconstruction money is going to get eaten up in graft by trump allies) And If they refuse, trump drops the tough on Netanyahu act, blames everything on hamas for refusing to negotiate, peace talks and ceasefire over, and the killing starts again in earnest, now with no fear of hitting Israeli hostages.

Tldr, the anger with bibi was fake- and hamas bought it. They did the half of the deal (hostage swap) without getting any guarantee in return, and now trump will push them until he has ‘no choice’ but to go back to full throated backing of israel’s total war.

Back in colege we used to do a zombie pub crawl that was pretty epic. We’d start with 5-10 people each year, most of whom were makeup artists.

At every bar, people would ask to join, and we’d do their makeup! 1 year we ended up with 200 people, not including the 4 police officers who’d been assigned to our growing mass of the undead. They let us do their makeup, and were driving a runner car before and after us, as we no longer could keep contained to the sidewalks.

I used to, up until the last couple years, when I stopped bartending. I still get most of my drinks for free though! And i still have a couple different groups of friends im all but gauranteed to find one of to hand out with.
