Took a bit of maturing, but I’ve learned you don’t have to forgive people and certainly you don’t have to let them back in your life, even if they are family. Some people just aren’t cut out for their role in your life. Biological or otherwise.

I’ve never understood why comments like this get would get replies like “you must be fun at parties" like these are my kind of favorite people at parties on the place that shall not be named. I still firmly believe one of the worst things to happen to the internet, besides pop-up ads, is up and down votes. Nothing exposes a misanthrope quicker than forcing them to comment instead of passively downvoting everything they see. Which makes it easier to remove them from the party.
