President Biden has unleashed a chaos on the border that’s unsustainable
we have a constitutional duty to respond to this unprecedented crisis.”
It’s this kind of people you’re all dealing with. (I was about to “we” but I got stalked after saying “we” here because I’m not American)
Sure, go ahead, use licenses that let Apple steal everything later.

I’m on Debian at the moment.
Which DE do you use? Sadly, on KDE Debian is quite bloated but there’s a trick, I deselected KDE when installing Debian.
Naturally, I booted into a blackscreen but after entering my credentials I ran the following command:
sudo apt install kde-plasma-desktop
I rebooted into a beautiful and minimal Plasma desktop, it doesn’t even have a calculator but it still comes with a few questionable applications installed. From there I just set up flathub and I’m all flatpak.
I used this page, check the page for your favorite DE/WM: https://wiki.debian.org/KDE

Experts say it...English01·2 years agoCombating drugs is good, spying is not good, you need a very transparent law that tackles the issue in a smart way.
EDIT: Why the downvotes? Is this a pro-drugs community?
Raphael@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Deepfake voices improving kidnapping scamsEnglish01·2 years agoI’m pro-AI but any technology that can lead to the creation of deepfakes must be explicitly banned.
Naturally, we’re already talking about criminals but you combat this issue the same way you combat school shootings. Banning the root of the issue and actively persecuting anyone who dares acquire it illegally.
EDIT: The victims wouldn’t have fallen to this deepfake scam if they had their own deepfake scam. Scam the criminal before he scams you!!!

Raphael@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.ml•G7 countries sign declaration outlining long-term security guarantees for UkraineEnglish0·2 years agoNo short-term massive military aid, but long-term ‘security guarantee’ as they strive for a prolonged war of attrition for the sake of their geopolitical interests.
Oh, CAP_NAME took that one too. Unfortunately, check it, he’s a mod over there.

I don’t care if Russia disappears from the map, don’t let a nazi country overtake Europe please.
You’re all forgetting the dozens of articles we had prior to the war, mentioning the nazi problem in Ukraine, The Guardian covered it, all major western media outlets did, you’re all willfully ignoring pictures of Zelensky giving medals to soldiers with a SS symbol on their chest. I know, I know, Ukraine got attacked but any support must be strictly limited to allowing them to protect themselves.
Otherwise you’ll regret it later. We all will.
