Maybe because I use librewolf with most browser fingerprinting and tracking disabled? I normally got like 3 to 5 captchas before I could login to discord.

Yeah exactly. What are they even verifying? They don’t have my phone yet, so anybody could put their number there and ‘verify’ the account. I suppose it’s to stop bots, but still, some other options should be available.
What triggers it? I’m currently abroad, so I suppose that might be the reason. But not really willing to give my phone number to discord. Is there no known workaround?
It’s kinda bothersome that so many online groups are using it (or facebook).
Didn’t know that, now I’ll definitely have to look into it, thanks!
Might be a good option. I would have to protect myself though, I burn so fast standing outside. Does this require a white card?
Does this require some experience with forklifts or something?

Pretty impressive that you are still using this as a daily driver.
I do feel there has been sometime lost when moving to the current iteration of smartphones. Typing is slower and many phones have become a distraction rather than a useful tool.
I have a smartwatch currently. But I sometimes forget to charge it, which means that I won’t be able to use it for a while. It does help with noticing notifications though, I especially like that the alarms are silent and only noticeable by me.
Thanks, that’s a good option! I didn’t know you could run it automatically in the morning.
And by filtering it for a specific calendar that I use for important events, it can be for just those events I need it for. Thanks!
Thanks for the suggestion. I will try it out. Too bad I use an iPhone as my daily phone at the moment, I don’t think there is something equivalent to this for iOS
That’s what I try to do. But sometimes I forget setting the alarms and then I start double guessing myself. Checking my calendar anyway even though I already have alarms set.
I was looking for a way to automatically set alarms based on calendar events, but seems like I’m out of luck…
This is what I would like to try. Just setting some time aside for experimenting.
But of course I still need to eat something everyday, so it would be good to have some staples to make when I don’t have time or some experiment failed.
I think that’s a good idea.
I actually like taking recipes and trying to reduce them to their most generic form. Like a curry, or a stew, or a salad. Most of the ingredients can be substituted, but the basic steps are the same.
Eating out can be nice, but it does not necessarily save any time. And often it feels like a choice between either an expensive meal or something rather unhealthy
I’ve always had difficulties using recipe search websites based on ingredients. Often I’m still missing one important ingredient, so i can’t make the suggestions. Or they try to find things with all the ingredients you fill in, which is not always useful.
A lot of ‘meals’ are also just side dishes, like honey glazed carrots or something. Which is not really something I would consider a full meal.
What website do you use?
Maybe this should be enforced by law. At least for digital purchases which are basically a license.
The only things you can easily give to others are DRM free things, like the games you can buy from GOG. But in that case it’s also easy to copy.
Not if you already activated it.
It used to be possible to buy games as gifts and and them to your inventory to give to somebody ( or activate it yourself ) later.
Now, when you want to gift a game. You have to immediately select the person you want to send it to.
Haha, great choice of mouse :)
I never really got into music much, maybe because it’s too distracting for me (especially with lyrics) I do feel like it can be very relaxing, but it heavily depends on the song. And I never bothered to make myself a playlist, so I don’t really know what I would listen too. (and I will avoid that rabbit hole for the time being :P)
Thanks for the kind words.
I suppose I can try that option, but I guess these kind of services should be blocked by them as well.
