I expect Trump to give Israel even more weapons and push them to outright destroy all of Palestine. After all during his presidency the US moved its embassy to Jerusalem and was very pro Israel.

I love the aircraft losses. Each one of those costs a fortune and the more destroyed planes the better for Ukrainian troops on the ground.

I often forget about inflation too but it’s actually quite crazy what a huge effect ithas on the value of our money.

Those people can often barely afford to live because the companies that got PPP loans do not pay them a living wage. Those people can’t afford buying things which in fact is the only the only way that an economy works.
Without consumption the economy crashes.

Additionally the PPP loans didn’t have any oversight. Many business owners used them to buy a new car, a Yacht or other luxuries.

unpopular opinion: if you take out a loan, you should have to repay it in full - alternately, dont buy what you cant afford to.

That law actually came into existence because Swiss weapons were in lots of civil wars and conflicts. I guess now it is too strict.

On the other hand I will be happy if the Swiss arms industry dies, there are better ways to earn money.

The stupid thing is that Switzerland is already on Russia’s naughty list. It’s just the idiot right wing party (I wouldn’t be surprised if they had connections to Rusdia) and the green party (because pacifism that clearly doesn’t work here).

Soweit ich mich erinnere war das die Arbeitsproduktivität und nicht die Produktivität die durch Automatisierung ermöglicht wird. Entsprechend erhöht sich eben der Arbeitsaufwand doch. Stell dir zum Beispiel Büroarbeiter vor, die jetzt ein Vielfaches an Daten bewältigen können, weil sie einen Computer zur Verfügung haben. Der Computer mag die Arbeit zwar vereinfachen, aber erledigt wird sie immer noch vom Mensch.

Wieder einmal eine gute Gelegenheit darauf hinzuweisen, dass die Produktivität (in der Schweiz) in den letzten 30 Jahren um mehr als 40% gestiegen ist. Das heisst wir arbeiten heute 40% mehr in der selben Zeit als die Generationen vor uns. Entsprechend sollte man vielleicht nicht über die jüngeren Generationen urteilen und behaupten, dass die so faul seien.

Das Grundproblem ist aber, das die Arbeiter sich zu tode arbeiten und davon praktisch nichts erhalten.

Ja, die arme, obere Mittelschicht. Die können sich ja kaum mehr Privatflugzeuge leisten!

Nur wenn es auch noch an die Produktivität gekoppelt wird. Wenn ich heute in der gleichen Zeit 40% mehr mache, als die Leute vor 30 Jahren, sollte das Rentenalter auch entsprechend sinken.
