Kathrin@trouth.euOPtoToday I learned@lemmy.ml•Today I learned about the "village homosexual" in Tahitian culture who is always available when there are no women.1·21 days ago@trugrog That’s where I got it from!
@otter Possibly the opposite of a lake boat, so I’m imagining a lake in a boat.

Kathrin@trouth.euOPtoToday I learned@lemmy.ml•Today I learned that the Archbishop of York had a piece of Louis XIV's mummified heart in a locket. In 1848 he showed it to the Dean of Westminster, who ate it.10·2 months ago@todayilearned Relevant quote:
> While dining out one evening at Lord Harcourt’s residence at Nuneham in 1848 he was shown a silver locket containing an object resembling pumice stone. He popped the object in his mouth, perhaps to try and find out what mineral it was, and swallowed it. It was in fact part of the mummified heart of Louis XIV of France which had been taken from the royal tomb by a member of the Harcourt family.

(see: https://x.com/abtnatural/status/1222721453373755394?lang=ar )
I am still trying to find a good scan of the whole thing. So far no luck, though.

If your platform doesn’t show all four panels of this quite exquisite and - dare I say - groundbreaking work of art, here is a link you can click to enjoy it in its entirety: https://trouth.eu/@Kathrin/114048021455654717
If you are confused, don’t sweat it. All will be revealed in time.
