🤔 I suppose it depends on what features you are looking for, because all the plugins i use are free. Obsidian does have way less restrictions compares to Google Docs, so you can customize it a lot. Some people even turn it into interactive maps, or build and play their own games.

I’m guessing you want syncing? If it helps, you can sort of get around the syncing thing by having the autobackups go into a cloud folder. You are right, though, that if you want to sync to a phone app, you’d need to pay.
