Imagine taking to a job at what you thought was an ambitious but underachieving club, only to discover it’s a clown car of mentally fragile players and a supporter base of self-loathing, habitual bottle jobs who hate their rival more than they love their own club.

Poor bastard, he deserves so much better than the spuds.

I’d like nothing more for him to go somewhere like West Ham or even Everton and do well there. Poor Spurs, surely if they keep cycling through managers they’ll get somewhere, won’t they?

I’m still amazed they didn’t fade earlier in the season. Aside for a few players, their squad really isn’t anything to write home about. I was expecting them to fall off the rails around Christmas. I’m pretty sure the only reason they lasted this long is because of Postecoglu.

Yes, they deserve to be relegated. Everton (arguably the other big perennial underachiever) have been punching above their weight while dealing with a points deduction. Tottenham are now just aimlessly swinging and missing.

And I saw Sky trying to set the rhetoric that they’re a financially self sustaining club and so they shouldn’t be overly ambitious and was like WTF? Those days are going. We’re self sustaining. Brighton too. Tottenham have shot themselves in the head. They deserve obscurity.
