I’ve heard that. It’s common up in Portland and Seattle. Portland, for being so liberal is weirdly racist. I worked in the service industry with this guy from Portland who’d say “fucking Canadians never tip”, and “look at the door, we got another group of Canadians”.
Maybe it is a call for ethnic cleansing and he means “black people” when he says “liberals.”
I knew a coworker who would say “Canadians” as a dogwhistle. I don’t know why, and refused to ask.
