I wanted to access this community from lemmy.today, but it seems that it cannot be found.
Is there anything blocking the federation from happening?

I dunno, this is a tame place.
It might be, but I would still like people to access it 😅
This is a small stable and well run instance. But you can always ask the admins to add others for federation.
The strange thing is that both instances are list on each other “linked instances” lists
