      I really wanted her to give him a better hug than that though, wtf was that. Not everyone is a hugger, I suppose.

          I don’t get what being professional has to do with giving your childhood classmate a proper hug. She came to his release and everything, as a private citizen and not on duty.

          I’ll chalk it up to her being a bad hugger or something. She doesn’t owe him a proper hug or anything like that, I just wish it looked more like she wasn’t pity-hugging him.

            Could be. My family doctor is a high school friend of mine. We’re very friendly but we don’t hug or anything it would feel weird to me. She’s seen my balls, I prefer to keep it professional thanks.
