I’ve had this monitor since Nov. 2022 and am recently having grain or noise issues on the screen (not sure which term is “correct”). (example images attached)
Already Done:
- Changed cables (from a 10" Insignia DisplayPort cable since July 2023, to an HDMI cable from a different setup).
- Changed the power location.
- Updated all my drivers.
I read on another post somewhere that it could potentially be the adapter itself that needs to be replaced (the VG279Q1A has one of those little box adapters and not just a power cable). Anyone know if this is the likely solution?
Anyone else run into this issue in the past with the VG279Q1A? Or another ASUS monitor? Did you solve the issue? Or is this a “sucks to suck, get a new monitor” issue?
Thanks in advance for ideas and help. Really crossing my fingers over here that I don’t have to buy an entirely new monitor…
(just a heads up: double-posted to the r/ASUS*, though I don’t see a rule about double-dipping so I hope it’s okay!)*
