I currently have a 32" 4K monitor and my desk depth is about 35" with the keyboard tray slide out.

I’m quite ok with the viewing distance but I want to buy a sit/standing desk and I may have to settle for a desk depth of about 30".

I know my 32" monitor will be too big with the shorter viewing distance so I’m thinking to downsize to 28" 4K.

So know I’m asking myself will I find the 28" 4K too small even with a shorter viewing distance than before ?

Has anyone here did a similar downsizing and was ok with it afterward or should I absoletuly keep my 32" ?

I’m on macos by the way and I rarely game mostly doing surfing the web and watch movies.

Thank you in advance !
