Germany’s lower house of parliament has voted to legalize cannabis for limited recreational use for adults on Friday, following a controversial debate about the pros and cons of allowing easier access to the drug.
What happens if your 3 plants produce more than 50 grams though? Surely a single plant will produce more than 50g?
That is a bit of an oversight, which I imagine will end up being changed to be more reasonable, in time. I went and looked at our laws to see what the limit was, and my province doesn’t even have one, while the provinces that do are 3 to 20 times that.
The only way you only get 50g from 3 plants is if you’re a really bad gardener
Yeah it’s a bit concerning as I was planning on doing a balcony grow. If that leaves me exposed to a “justifiable” police raid to check if I have >= 51 grams of product then it feels much less legal than it should be. Hopefully they change that up, but with how long it took to get to this point and the lower political capital of the coalition that might be a long time coming.
