Posting for my brother who isn’t on reddit. This setup is for a small business served by symmetrical 150mbps with no plans to upgrade - small town and not a lot is available. Current setup is a USG-3P with a first Gen Cloud Key and a single UAP-AC-LR all connected to a 24 port Netgear. There might be a chance of upgrading the ap at some point and maybe even adding two more, but that’s all this system is ever going to be - small, simple, with the need to be hands off and rock solid.
The question is what to upgrade to since the CK is EOL and updates are needed.
Dream Router seems out even though it’s technically sufficient just because you all say it’s flakey.
UDMP seems like total overkill.
Does he just upgrade to the CKG2+ and keep the USG? Is this a long term solution? What can this handle for speed if an upgrade ever were on the table.
Thanks for advice.
