A sequel to the hit 2016 animated film was announced by Bob Iger ahead of Disney's fiscal 1st quarter earnings report — with a surprise release this November.

TL;DR It’s hitting theaters on Nov. 27.

    Don’t ruin Moana. It’s a perfect film and doesn’t need a sequel. It was a perfectly self-contained story!

      Iger, genius visionary, said Disney’s going to focus on sequels for a while in general.
