I wish I could wipe my memory and reread those books fresh. How are you liking them so far?

I loved the first one. Sanderson’s pacing is excellent - I was expecting a slow burn based on what I’d heard about them, but I don’t think that’s the right phrase. More like a fire getting constantly stoked until something has to explode.

Right up until the “Sanderlanche” when it all falls into place!

My husband has finished listening to or reading everything that has been released in the Cosmere; one of my children has read almost all of the books; I am right in the middle of Stormlight Archives!

I really love these books! Up until my kid moved out, we would sit around and talk about the Cosmere (except I was so far behind that they would have hours more chatting without me, because we are a spoiler-free family - as much as possible, at least)

So far, I have loved every book (listening to the Graphic Audio version) and will be sad when they end. Maybe the next Stormlight Archives book will be out by the time I get that far!

I’m reading Beatrice’s Last Smile by Mark Gregory Pegg. It’s a history of the Middle Ages through the concept of holiness. Really interesting, and it’s written in small chunks with short histories of specific people or events that makes it a lot easier to read than some more academic looking books

This week I started reading Ursula K. Le Guin’s Rocannon’s World (1966). I had previously read The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas (1973), and the The Dispossessed (1974) is in progress.

I just started The Great Hunt (Wheel od Time book 2). Too early to say how I’m feeling about it but the series overallhas me intrigued.

Currently, I’m listening to Stormlight Archives book 3 - Oathbringer, by Brandon Sanderson. (The GraphicAudio versions are really good, but even the ones read by a single person are good!)

I really love the Cosmere setting! I highly recommend reading the whole lot of them.

I finished The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beale and am wrapping up some novella follow ups.

After that I’m going to work on the Locke and Key Graphic Novels by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. Then The Queen of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner. I read The Thief last year and really enjoyed it, my goal is to work through a bunch of the series I read the firsts of last year when I was discovering what I’d missed
