just bought a pair of Ultraboost 1.0, but i think i’m going to return it. I only bought it because i thought it looked sleek and it actually fits unlike the NMD.
some people swear how comfortable Ultraboost 1.0 are. i think they have obviously never owned a pair New Balance. The issue is there’s little padding, and the base is also too thin, flexes way too much and it lacks stability. It’s also terrible for driving and I can’t do heel-toe properly.
Before Ultraboost, I get frequent arch foot pain. After getting my first pair, I can walk way longer distances without getting the pain now. Although, may consider New Balance as my next pair because I have no brand loyalty and willing to try new things.
I have a pair of 327, it’s by far the most comfortable sneaker i ever had. doesn’t look like it but once your foot is in it just makes sense. Recently got a pair of 580, it’s less comfortable initially but after breaking in it’s pretty good as well loads of padding.
