Original Title: I’ve got a pc already bit it very old now an in need of a major upgrade on pretty much all components minus the ram an power supply which I can reuse, I want to make a good rig that can run most thing in ultra/max setting smoothly. I’m looking to build cheap as possible.

I’m looking for any suggestions on where to get components cheap an what components are worth looking at, I’ve looked at getting a complete new build on websites like pc specialist an coming in about £3k mates have suggested it’s cheaper to build an upgrade but not sure where i should even start can remember specs an models of all pieces in current pc but can get once home later, for now can tell your their old 8+ years maybe an that it an gtx nvidia titan 12gb graphics card.

What I’m most concerned about is that anything I buy to upgrade won’t be worth it in long run as most thing I have right now are probably not compatible with newer bits

Thanks
