Almost a third of paternity tests come back as not the father. To be clear, that is among people who have reason to take a paternity tests, not all fathers.

Is that word about taking a paternity test?

Of course not, Huginn & Muninn see all.

Or to put it another way, only 1/3 of people with reason to doubt paternity have a good reason to doubt.

Probably mostly true but sometimes there are legal or other reasons where tests are performed in the absence of doubt.

Edit: also the mother could have admitted to cheating but was sleeping with more than person so there could be good reason to doubt and still have positive paternity.

  • I had a friend who was 6’5, his sister was 5’11 (which isn’t exactly a giant but it’s still upper end of spectrum for women’s height), and his dad was like 5’8 I think (I’m also 5’11, so that’s my estimate) and his mom was shorter still.

It’s pretty evident his father was his father because his father’s family was also giant, his grandpa was nearly 7’.

Yeah my dad’s parents were short, like 5’6" and 5’4". All three of their boys were 6’4". My mom’s parents were both tall but she was 5’4". It’s always a roll of the dice, even if they are loaded.

I am 5’9" (brothers 6’4" same as my dad) and my ex 5’10" and we had girls, I expected all to be my height or better, but only one got taller than me, the others are 5’7" or 5’6".

    • Me and my Dad are both 5’ 7".

My grandfather and uncle were both 6’ 5" and my aunt is 5’ 11".

I’m pretty sure they all had the same father as other than my Dad’s height they all look very similar to my grandfather, as do I.

Me and my Dad both started smoking pretty young and my grandfather, aunt and uncle never smoked which might have affected things.

But these guys look nothing like each other.

Apparently perfect nutrition, for example by eating enough meat, gives your children +5"

    That doesn’t explain enough
