Don’t got not other social to complain on so here I am: I really am hating the on-foot radio. I honestly find most of the radio music in the game to be kinda annoying and I’m really annoyed that I have to manually turn it off now every single time I exit a vehicle. I like it when driving, I like it when its on a physical diegetic source in the game (like when there’s a radio turned on on a table in a scav den) but now having to just have the radio all or nothing is honestly just annoying. I wish they had implemented a way to toggle this option in the game settings (if there is and I haven’t found it PLEASE let me know).

anyone else feeling this way? I am honestly kinda confused that this was an addition. I’d think car customization was a bigger community ask than “having a constant stream of generally annoying music” was big on the list.

Would have been kinda cool if it was something you could have bought.

Actually all music in the game would have been cool if it was something you had to buy.

You start as poor nomad. Buy rights to play music. Only get one song. Drives you mad until you can buy something else you like. 0lay it until it either loses all meaning or becomes part of the very fabric of you. Buy another and repeat.

    I realise this isn’t a future dystopia but a re-enactment of every gen-xers youth.

I thought I’d like the feature, but after using it I really want a toggle also. I basically turn it off and on manually now as I enter cars…

I feel like the game’s now forcing me to role-play as “the obnoxious guy on the street who is blasting his shitty music for everyone to hear and asking for a Vulcan neck pinch.”

Don’t get me wrong—my V is an obnoxious asshole, but she’s not someone to play loud music while melting gonk brains.

It’s just a radio plug in your head. Nobody but you hears it as far as I understand, but I of course agree that the game needs a toggle. Often I don’t mind but sometimes I just want it to shut the fuck up and stay quiet

I sometimes play music from my phone to my turtle beach headset thru Bluetooth while I also get game sound. THPS 1+2 was so much better with Spotify or my own music. That soundtrack was nice and nostalgic at first, and then infinitely annoying…

I’m glad you said it because I thought it was a really stupid addition, but assumed that many were clamoring for it. The only in game radio that doesn’t stay muted or off all the time is GTA

Bro I wish samurai was a real band. Like I know refused is real and a lot of their stuff is great but EVERYTHING they made under the name Samurai is banger

I unironically pull up Samurai’s tracks on YouTube all the time, really wish they were on pandora. Bad day at work, I blare the hell out Samurai as I do my after-diner work time at home to answer emails I missed at work dealing with emergencies

My biggest problem with it is the fact that it’s unpredictable. I want my preferred station, always. But it changes between NCART, Vehicle and on foot and it’s a butt pain.

I’ll never understand takes like this. It’s literally just one button and takes a fraction of a second to turn off. Its cool you think it’s bad, but I like it.
