Old news obviously, but I think it’s worth documenting the organizations and dollar amounts

even Steven Pinker is coming out against EA now: https://twitter.com/sapinker/status/1732114240666743102

Is this an enemy of my enemy is my friend situation? Pinker’s naive optimism bubble, is not exactly a perspective I 100% endorse either but hey 🤷

I intensely dislike him. I’d say his views rhyme with those of the rationalists, so to speak, which is why I think it’s noteworthy that even a guy like him is criticizing EA now.

More like a ‘friend of my enemy has become their enemy is funny’ situation.

Hurling ordure at the TREACLES, especially those closely related to LessWrong.

AI-Industrial-Complex grift is fine as long as it sufficiently relates to the AI doom from the TREACLES. (Though TechTakes may be more suitable.)

This is sneer club, not debate club. Unless it’s amusing debate.

[Especially don’t debate the race scientists, if any sneak in - we ban and delete them as unsuitable for the server.]
