    Fun Fact: Much like Mary Shelly’s “Frankenstein” (the titular character being the doctor and not his creation), contrary to popular belief, Atlas never actually shrugs in Ayn Rand’s seminal novel. Instead, it is her readers who are left to shrug by the end.
